A wonderful and insightful article. We are indeed evolving (devolving?) away from how we have been for eons. We are more digitally connected, but far more separate from our sensual immersion in the real world which is being affected by our neglect and abuse. We don't know people in our own family, much less the community, and even in our own family, people must move apart in order to earn. We don't even know our food supply origins, which is risky for sustainable production.

The climate crisis and pandemics are with us now, and we must make sharp turns toward one another and planet, or risk hostility and peril.
