Last week I blogged about a frustrating issue. We want to be involved with climate activism, but do not know where to start. We avoid social media and all online “fake” worlds that collect our data in order to sell us the idea of consuming everything in sight.

These days no one remembers true town square meetings or in-person book clubs. We used to be a true social species, but we are evolving into message recorders that may or may not make real contact.

As a result, there are no obvious like-minded breathers or people who eat real food that we come in contact with around these parts.

As more fires and floods lay in our future, I would like to invite you to walk with me out into the real, physical world that yet lives. And thereby, in noting its grace and wisdom, together we may think of ways to protect it.
