ALL Babies Should Have A Right To Life
Life is not just unborn. Or human. Or privileged. All LIFE matters.

Babies should have a right to life. Specifically, female babies. No. This is not to say male babies are unwanted. Female bodies, are the ones whose bodies are policed and shamed to the point that many people feel only the government should say what health decisions a woman should make with her body. Even little girls, babies, learn that female means “less than.” This has to stop. Every baby, deserves to be wanted and loved.
The concern over who will be appointed to the Supreme Court concerns all of us. And there is good reason. People should care about all people, especially born people, and other sentient beings who support the biosphere, whether they be male, female, immigrant, LBGTQ, black lives, or even orange lives. Universal concern for suffering is what matters here. Simply support freedom of choice for who lives and dies, where life is possible, what conflicts and famines drive refugees, where AGW refugees will go, whether contraception will even allow mothers to choose life or death.
There is a solution. We have many problems, from gun control concerns to climate change, from sexual harassment to immigration reform. None of these problems stand alone. Everything that touches human lives come through nature. Nature (or God — if you must give Her a name — or gender — ((that’s a joke)), people, GOD created LIFE. Let’s make ‘Right to Life’, mean protecting biology. The biosphere if you like. It’s more accurate. More honest. More in touch with reality and the very real challenges we face today. Protecting and defending life means less trash in the ocean killing our life source. It means more resources and green energy for world-wide rich and poor. Right to life means families can choose family size, health, education, careers, thriving economy and more. It means clean food, water, air, diversity and biodiversity.
In short, there is no other impact human beings can make that is more important than promoting equality of opportunity for the family of humanity and all those beings that support it. Choosing the right to actual biology and biodiversity is less selfish and more compassionate, therefore, less divisive of society and more cooperative for sustainable living.
There is one Earth. The more time we spend fighting over when human life begins, is more time we lose. The more time we spend fighting over which religion is the most intolerant, sexist, horrible or beneficent, the more time we lose. The more time we deny there is a continuum of life since the first cyanobacteria became the miracle of LIFE, the more time we lose.
There was lightening, fire, water, Biblical crashing and sparks. Earthquakes, volcanoes, Science stuff. And then there was an astonishing evolution that led either to a dead end in the sixth extinction, or to high quality, abundant life. You choose.
Life is truly sacred. Earth has a right to life. Let’s grant it.
