All it takes for creating bias is an idea of "They" are worse then "Us. " 1 . Innocent people are killed on every side (see history/holy war, etc) due to the benefits (usually political power) given to those in leadership who are okay with the death of innocent children, men, and women for their purposes. #2, creating resentment, terrorism, and bias does not help any human rights cause, but it does serve a purpose for creating a vicious cycle, selling arms, and the idea that "they" are worse than "us." I believe you are trying to show distinctive nuance, but please consider whether an "us" vs "them" bias is in play since none of us are free from human bias.
