All Those Toys You Cherished, Where Are They Now?
Everything material thing you ever saw still exists in some form or another, who uses them now?

We are Star Wars Stuff
Famously, everything you are and everything you ever touched, came from the stars. Not just those Star wars toys, not just that Star Trek lunch box (mine is on display in our kitchen), and not just Beanie Babies on E-bay, or Nintendo consoles in a landfill.
Think about where all your stuff is now. It’s good that you had toys you desired with all your heart. It’s good that a child’s imagination is fired by everything from cabbage patch dolls to Tamagotchi toys.
Yet, I also believe it is instructive for adults, and especially children, to think about where all those bits of plastic and polyester end up over the centuries ahead when the child’s driving desire turns from play to survival.
Why children? Because they are the ones who, if they survive our waste, trash, and emissions through 2050 and beyond, will have to deal with the heat, storms, and hardest of all, politics.
