Storms and shortages

Reading the Guardian yesterday, we learned that 90% of the world grain supply is controlled by four mega-corporations. They are in charge of manipulating supply based on demand, optimizing profits, keeping workers paid as little as possible, and of course, relying on giant containers for distribution. Ships are facing more severe weather, shortages, social unrest, and incidents like stopping global trade because your giant Ever Given ship gets wedged in the Suez Canal.

To say nothing of disturbing the whales. Except what I just said.

Let’s leave a better world for the children by not having them

The world relies on mono-culture, that is, rice, wheat, corn, and soybeans.

Without diversity, we face losing the food that keeps the biosphere thriving.

Diversity, nature’s answer to all of us getting along, is being fought hard. It’s a great time to suppress votes, force women to have more births, crack…
