As an infertile couple, our mourning is lifelong. However, as a particle of the Earth we rejoice. With pollution killing so very many (endocrine disruptors being just one pollutant) our species is out of control. Toba disruption 75,000 years ago took us down to 1,000 or fewer individuals. We recovered, but also took out many other species.

Unless we are somehow "better" than other organisms, what is wrong with our extinction?( to provoke thought, not to promote suicide ideation)
