Jesus Christ is wise and nice

Being raised a Christian, I loved Easter. A new dress! Baby animals! Flowers! A bunny who lays eggs and brings chocolate! Jelly beans!

We also learned that Jesus came to save the world, also a very nice idea. But it required that we all followed one rule that many Christians today cannot seem to grasp.

Maybe it is too simple?

Prime directive

Jesus Christ provided one rule for all followers above all others: Love God by loving one another.

That’s it.

Do not judge one another. Do not legislate against one another. Nor remove classroom teaching of history, slavery, sexism, homophobia, or anything else. No reason to deny women healthcare, or choice.

Jesus was all about choice. A second chance for Humanity to choose salvation through love. To care for one another, and ultimately, the creation itself.
