Great article. Just a quick Q: When a man "provides" for a woman is he washing her underwear? cooking her food, raising her kids?cleaning her toilet?

Rarely is the answer, yes. In our sexist language we use the word provide to mean: sharing earnings.

I would submit that he would often do nothing different in how he gets his pay, whereas if he (or she) is providing for the other, then the provider is providing actual, personal, loving service!
