Oprah Winfrey got too big.
Don’t be an idiot, I don’t mean her body. I mean her influence.
Like many larger-than-life entities that we overfed with our social hunger, Oprah got too big and influential for our own good.
So far, (things change) the influence of her body of work has been positive, overall. She has inspired millions of people, especially women, to be proud of their presence, empowerment, and purpose. She took on child abuse, assault, racism, and sexism.
That seldom happened in the old talk show days of Johnny Carson or even today’s Stephen Colbert.
She proved herself as a force to be reckoned with.
But, some things get too large to handle adeptly. The O empire is one of them.
