Here is a different christian perspective, (agnostic now), but raised to believe Christ offered a new deal: Equality.

“Sex as a male has with a female” means unequal power, exploitative and based in misogyny. “Sex as one does with an equal” means a new, better, equal and desirable partnership.

Have never understood why so many “christians” don’t prefer the new Testament way of equality that Christ espoused.
