Humankind. To Be, Or Not To Be?

Some think Earth is better off without us. Some think that’s crazy. Will the new Climate Bill help?

Will We “Be?” That is the question

We are 100% certain, as all species do, to go extinct.

The question is, how do you want to go? I know many people see humanity as a kind of cancer, or virus, upon the Earth. I know many who say we will innovate our way out of this.

If someone tells me, “Humanity needs to die,” I disagree. If they tell me, “We will adapt,” I disagree.

The new climate bill has people excited over the idea we may save Earth. I remain skeptical. It depends upon the falling tipping point of human consciousness landing at either passive or active behavior. We will be changing our ideas about living and what “life” entails.

If we are passive, many will die. If we are active, we change our values about belonging to Earth, and fewer will die.

We may not go extinct all at once. Likely, we will evolve, or download, or get thee to a space nursery, or to no one-knows-yet.
