I agree. Molten-salt reactors use half the fuel, (when done with best tech) and produce half the waste. Dr. Leslie Dewan and Dr. Mark Massie, are looking into this, and there are other ideas, as you mentioned.

That said, I think we need to use every single option available, working on better battery storage, and using bio waste (not corn or food). There are as many solutions as there are bright minds.
