I very much appreciate what your are educating people about, and how the system is abused. However, recycling is not a "myth" it is just hijacked and mismanaged. As you said, they shifted blame to the consumer. In nature, however, all materials and all nutrients are recycled, a truth. In Hi the H 5 program provides lots of incentive 5 cents, to be given back to buyers of cans, bottles, and anyone who collects them.

If the profiteers (oil and gas) paid for clean up you would see overnight efficiency, and no more blaming the consumer. Who will make them do that? Only a persistent demand to protect our planet from trash.
