Trauma mama

Here, settling into WA state, and loving the cooler (than HI) weather, I’ve been inspired to write more poetry.

But it’s not all rainbows and roses, out there. It’s also guns and roses.

This poem was begun months ago, but hey, moving is number four after death, divorce, and job loss, as far as human trauma.

I’ve fallen behind.

We’ve been too busy adjusting to inflation, downsizing, end of world politics (Roe over-turned today) and environmental crisis all over the rest of the world. Still hitting the climate grief, but adding in the trauma — of all knowing women, and real men — who know about the link between forced birth and killing Mother Earth.

Boo!

Juneuary became perfect Pacific Northwest summer, and this year, so far, no fatal heatwaves, or fire, here…

Yay!

By the way, since this is let’s destroy the Earth day by exploiting, and destroying, human agency, let’s try to be positive and hope all those ‘forced birth children’ really…
