In order of your questions. Yes, men have serious issues. No, we don't see men as negative. No one benefits from the patriarchy because even the top elite billionaires/leaders know exploitation of others is involved and must live with that. My first boyfriend was/is extremely decent. My present spouse is decent, most men I meet are--but that doesn't change that we live in a social system that exploits places and people (the patriarchy). I know many beautiful young men and I grieve for them and our collective abuse of young men and women . I have, never to my knowledge, hurt or used a guy and I don't know of any women who have, although being human beings under patriarchy and racism, it must certainly happen to many people. I agree that all people must examine our racist and sexist behavior and have accountability.
