Isolation from one another drove the industrial revolution. That drives climate crisis. Although remote work saves carbon, it also drives bubbles and personal silos of tribalism more than we know.

We do not know our neighbors or fellow subway passengers, now, but there does exist an opportunity to know them when community interacts. We evolved with communal cooperation, and connection to nature.

Without it, I think the tragedy of the commons gets writ large.
