It is incredibly overlooked that most women tell NO ONE. I have often wondered how any reliable stats are gathered (on NON reported instances) since in any poll no one I know who has been assaulted would ever dream of reliably telling the truth about her assault. There is just too much they wish to bury, and no good reward for coming forward.
