It’s A Slippery Slap

It’s a slippery slope and a slippery slap. Don’t wake up, just take a nap.

From being in the pink onesie to being in the blues band
It’s a slippery slope

You “know thyself,” and understand
You’re not just another dumb dope

Of course, you cuss, you curse, you swear.
Normal. It’s common now, everywhere

You detest plastic death, but come on, DUDE, don’t live in a yurt!
|You buy bottled drinks, maybe just one — surely one can’t hurt

You buy that gadget, toss that can
You know just one won’t kill the plan

Divestment will come, you can join woke masses
You then can live without greenhouse gasses

You must get to work, no time to see trees
A team player. You’re not Socrates

It would corrupt the youth to digress, rebel
Just one more car doesn’t make Earth hell

So put your two cents into digital
One hour won’t make you criminal

You are with the righteous crew
Any slap at the world offends you too
