"Ki" is already an existent word. Plural is KIN.

It is used when one does not know the gender of someone.

"That squirrel, ki is eating the corn."

"That shopper, Ki is buying some corn."

It can never be confused with a plural "they,"

It allows we all are related by DNA.

I wish kin could all adopt/adapt to "ki."
