Listen very carefully on videos of any real people crying. You will see they almost always say “Sorry” . A lot. People apologize for tearing up in a way that they do not apologize for any other emotion.

The reason no one can cry on demand, is that the lifetime demand about crying we learn is that it is shameful. This is deeply, deeply conditioned. Even most women will say “sorry” when they cry.

I hope this changes so people can be conditioned that expressing all emotion is healthy.
