Little Guns, Big Guns

How nations and individuals keep us all fired up

Photo by British Library on Unsplash

If one brother, kill another
or one daughter must be fodder…

As distracted sorrows holds us
A money-making deal is sold us

Guns, are for two things, only
For child loss and widows lonely

And, a second purpose tells us
for wars, or politics — it sells us

Guns are so popular, so thrilling,
We need billions more to keep on killing
