ROARING RIVERS

Roar As Loudly as A Lula Crowd

On Earth, despite some droughts and fires, there is no river roaring louder than the Amazon right now.

Whether flowing, burning, scorched black, or rippling, the Amazon speaks out and calls for life.

The surges of people in the streets of Brazil’s major cities are also making an effort to also be heard. After the election was called, they flooded the streets with celebration for Lula da Silva’s win.

Lula da Silva won the national election by a water-thin margin, and the people who supported Jair Bolsonaro may also make a lot of noise.

Under Bolsonaro. the last fifteen years have seen record-breaking deforestation. This is largely the result of deliberate land grabs, illegal deforestation, fires, eradication of indigenous people, scandals and corruption, disregard, and deliberate destruction.
