many more people are aware of racism and sexism now, . Now we pretend it's not here --so even more insidious. Clothing, fashion, and owning of gadgets, music, has gotten worse, not better. We live as though food, fashion etc are trash so we treat all things/beings and resources--even people --as disposable.
