Maybe Atheism And Religion Are Not Binary Either
How creation care can bring about a new world religion — and a new world
Thank God for atheists
What if belief in God, or belief in science, are not opposites, but part of a very large spectrum? I don’t believe we can pit religion against science. Even the most ardent atheist, let’s look at Richard Dawkins, for example. He most certainly believes in something “greater than” himself.
He even preaches about it. And that’s good.
Thank God for Richard Dawkins!
Anyone who encourages people to think more, to explore the universe, and to realize their own prejudices is a blessing of Creation.
The world in interwoven
We, as humans, think in stories and we project binary ideas onto everything. Yet, the world is not binary. It’s complex and interwoven. Just as there are many possible stages between male and female genders , for example, there are many lifeforms and many concepts that are better seen as on a continuum, and not as opposites.
In the context of humanity, black and white, up and down, good and evil, even male and female, have no meaning without a frame of reference that is subjective and constructed.
