My brother and I have never used profanity. So far. We were raised that way. Thanks for this topic.

I am biased, like Amelia, but I also think that profanity can be lazy, uncreative, over-used, and a sign that someone just follows the crowd. I am thinking more of speaking than in writing--where it obviously mirrors society. But maybe because everyone swears now it affects polarization and an expectation to be insensitive to each other. It will be interesting to see where it goes.
