Nature doesn't waste anything, and our human sin in not eating others, but in throwing away habitats, polluting them, creating suffering, spreading zoonotic plagues, and consuming more than our share. Of everything.

BTW, we are spending thousands to move our elderly cat from Hawaii when we could save more 'about to be killed' shelter animals instead. Huh.

It's also true you can morally (unlikely) eat a member of your family, but it is not right to kill them for that purpose
