Women should marry for money

It takes something much more than greed to make her a whore, a gold-digger, or an exploitative person. This is because modern marriage was set up with the incredibly sexist idea that a man should earn for his work and a woman, whatever her exchanges and gifts for him, should offer her work and body, for inconsistent, if any, recompense.

In fact, women who ‘know their place’ are lauded for being selfless, virtuous, pious, and even more sexually desirable.

For most of human history, men and women both worked hard, doing the hunting, gathering, and textile and shelter making together. Usually in manageable groups. Later, after patriarchy, religion, and royalty emerged, men and women worked either for their extended family, but more often as serfs for a Lord of some kind. This too, was painted as virtuous and a ‘natural order’ of being.

Enter a wholly different industrial revolution where kings and lords were toppled and replaced by industrialists. We had the replacement of human labor with fossil…
