only time I ever had cornrows was in Bali. Women on the beach seek to make their living from tourism. Yes, I know colonialism is in play, but when people beg for work, and you wish to try something new, it works. As you say, let's all see the beauty in both origins and those who originated a "trend", and be extra grateful
