our civilization may go extinct, but not us. Our numbers are so great, a few will squeak by. We are incredibly adaptable, it is the natural, external biosphere world that is experiencing mass extinctions, at high cost to us.

It won't be a pretty planet if we continue, but it will be a planet of poor planning apes.
