Damaging words and phrases hurt us all

Human beings are inadequate with words. We seldom know what we’re talking about, or talk about what we actually know.

Some choice words to help you figure out what real issues and accurate articulation follow. First, we will present the “bad”, (that is, inadequate,) words and phrases, and then examine some more accurate alternatives.

Here are sixteen “bad” words to explore, today, the first eight. Then, tomorrow, if the cat is well enough, I will address the other eight.

Bad words:

Climate change
Air pollution, water pollution, light pollution, noise pollution, etc.
Pro-life
The Abortion Debate
Feminism and toxic masculinity
Racist rants
Black lives matter, All lives matter, Blue lives matter…
Identity politics, woke mob

Educated elite
Illegal immigration
Housing bubble, the housing crisis
Neo-liberalism, capitalism
Boomer generation, hippie movement, swinging sixties, etc.
LGBTQ+ rights, ‘groomers,’ safe bathrooms, protected athletes, etc.
Family Values
