Activists and tomato, potato, tom matto, pot tatto…

Activists stir the pot. Recently, Just Stop Oil threw soup and potatoes at priceless art.

Extinction Rebellion has been known to clog UK streets, and I clearly remember people in Seattle expressing annoyance with a climate demonstration in 2019.

But I have wondered why we are not doing more, and more importantly, why more people are not having fits, both big and small.

It’s important to have demonstrators demonstrate. Today Iran is seeing a moment, for example.

You can run, but you can’t run away

But climate activism feels different — like most people just don’t realize the trouble we are in — or they feel powerless to tweak the system.

For every person demonstrating— there is millions more committing violence against let’s say, cows, or pigs, or just Amazon biodiversity or suffering habitats.
