Thank you. I also think a lot about language. The N word was once very common, and I think the B word (still very common) has taken its place, Consider:

"You are my N word, now" does not imply something less cruel than "You are my B word now." They both intend to say "I own you. You are less."

A word I do think is more reclaimed with less cruelty is "gay."

Now if we could just get everyone to speak as though others were all worthy of respect!
