Thanks, I understand.

I do get days of despair. In fact, I am reading Kolbert’s Sixth Extinction, right now. But study after study has shown that doom and gloom don’t sell, and they just disempower people.

If you want to defeat Nazis, you have to believe in heroes. There are millions of people fighting for equality, Equality will give females, and POC, choice to not make more carbon footprints. There are millions working for clean energy. There are millions working to create lab meat, less toxic politics, less waste, better beer cans, cars, and homes, and so much more.

I think we have to stay positive, because it is human nature, but also empowering for people to know they DO make choices, and can affect outcomes.

I joined Extinction Rebellion, and I believe in the Attenboroughs and Thunbergs of the world. One person makes many choices.
