Too many I know love the new “gay” candidate, but no one says “It’s not right to vote just because he’s gay” the same way they say “It’s sexist to vote for a woman just because she is a woman.” Plenty of people voted for Obama because he was black. Plenty also voted for him for other reasons about character, or competence. (I did)
