There are baddies. The baddies are the multinationals and 'leaders' who benefit from an arms race and geopolitical power. They convince the public that there is an Us vs Them. Trouble is these evil men love their family and community as much as anyone. They have no clue they're 'baddies' They're 'heroes!'

As to Nazis, most Germans turned Nazi as soon as they realized their lives and family were threatened with loss and death.
