Totally ruined, but with much trash — and clues — left behind

Stolen dreams

The car is now stalled forever. The whole control console and interior were ripped apart. In less than 24 hours, it went from good, ole reliable Hannah the Honda to sad hulk strewn with drug paraphernalia.

We will likely never know what happened in those hours. We do know that the Police did not show. Nor does it look like they will investigate because no one has time for that these days of guns amok in the streets and people committing domestic violence from mansion minions to homeless heartaches.

The thieves left behind many clues. Among what they left (apparently in a hurry) were a cell phone, prescription drugs, names and numbers, clothing, bedding, a backpack, and more.

It feels quite sad to all of us that none of these things can be put to use, Emily the Criminal style. It would feel cathartic to get any kind of justice or recompense from the jerky perps. The idea of having some control over a situation like this is apparently a fantasy, but I still hope to hear any encouraging words from anyone out there that has been similarly violated.
