You are going to hate, love, or shrug, very, very intensely

Today’s Topic: Home for the Holly dazed and confused

We take off for Seattle this weekend. We decided, definitively to live there last year. Before the heat dome. Before the drought. Before the floods.

What the hell is going on, Gaia, I thought you were my best friend??

Well, we’re committed. Aloha Hawaii, hello cloud shine Seattle.

Do you live in the area? Do you know it? I grew up in the Cascades, it was nicer then.

I Hula’d away for a mere decade or so, and I don’t recognize the place. Last year hardly any snow on Tahoma (look it up!). And, everyone squabbling about masks, vaccines, and Critical Race Theory.

A lot of people live there now. Some in towers. Some in card board shacks. Some in their parents’ basement. Of the latter, I think very few have as yet killed their parents, because you, know: “Okay Boomers, thanks for worse than nothing.”

It’s the end of the year, and for the fourth year running, I am writing about the end of the world at the holiday season. I seem to often jump the gun…
