We live in Hawaii. There are no practical alternatives. However, being conscientious about flying requires that we plant trees after a trip, reduce, re-use and recycle as much as possible.

Polluters pay almost zero tax, especially energy companies. Nor do they pay externalities. YEt, I rather doubt they take the time to plant trees, etc.

Every time someone is critical of carbon use, we must respond by providing the empowerment of off-sets, solutions, innovations, and more.
