Alice in Chains

Very Unpopular Strong Opinions Blog by Christyl Rivers

Alice in Wonderland, is an upside down world. So, there, a cat listens to you when no else does.

When you try to look into anything in depth on the internet, it’s more than just absurdist. It gets really dirty, really fast. Distorted. Absurd.

You get into the weeds, really fast.

No room, no room

The internet is both addictive, like a magical mushroom, and dangerous, where the tea party can not just disinvite you but murder democracy.

There is a lot of conspiracy talk and tyrannical behavior. It is often presented as the ultimate authority. But, really, the Red Queen is just another fake red pill.

This is a strange, and backward land sometimes. There is room for scandal, but no room at all for girls just trying to make sense of what the freak is going on around here?

People have no qualms about throwing out gibberish about the Depp/Heard trial, whether or not they are knowledgeable. Or they will defend a Weinstein, or a Cosby, or Woody Allen based on having sipped one drop of an elixir purported to make them bigger than they really are. But having a presence in the Blunder land does not really make you bigger, you are just a little high from the dopamine hits of the addictive treacle well.

If one cares to try to learn real truth about Amber Heard, and Johnny Depp, well, you really can’t. There are civil trials, like the Depp/Heard, and there are criminal trials, like those Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Most of all, there is the court of public opinion, which makes the Red Queen look kinder than the tooth fairy.

What about Elon Musk? Who will be the Cheshire cat and actually talk?

Is there a place of sanity and truth? Hardly. One comes away more cynical about all the bad guys. And even the system. Why for example do more…
