Roaring Rivers

Torrents, currents, and ripples by Christyl Rivers

The sun sets on civilization

Another day is done. You are one day closer to death. You may reflect upon it: was this day productive? Did I achieve anything meaningful?

If you are like other billions of people, you are not sure. You worked, maybe earned, paid some bills, met some obligations, connected to your partner, or family… You did your best.

Ecopsychology is a thread between your psyche and your home

In the field of ecopsychology, we believe you are not fulfilled.

It is not because you are not trying. In fact, if anything, people are pushing so hard for productivity that they have little time for anything else. Under runaway consumer capitalism, and its costs, we are cast aside.

Human beings evolved with nature for hundreds of thousands of years (as humans) before that time, we evolved with all other organisms for millions of years.
