Octogenarian may need a nap

Dr. Anthony Fauci has announced that he will probably retire before Biden’s term is over.

He avoided COVID-19 until recently, and I am a bit surprised he didn’t leave when all the coughing loudmouths around him nose-bloviated about what a terrible job he was doing through the last three years.

America, unlike most other rich nations, didn’t quite get why our American exceptionalism was less powerful (and contagious) than our breath-carried virus that we are still sharing today.

It’s alive

California and Washington state are looking into more mask requirements. COVID numbers are still climbing, and the virus continues to mutate like an ugly version of Lady Gaga on time lapse photography.

Everyone assumes the world economy will be better off by ignoring how transmissible the newest variant is, and people are fairly ho-hum about the about to be released Novavax vaccine.
