You are right that no one group will internalize hate the way some marginalized people experience it. We are each the product of our genes + environment interacting. As change happens we all change. We all internalize some measure of self scrutiny (not always hate but self-criticism) because it is what we learn to do.

I have discovered, for example, that I am truly sexist and as a feminist, this grates! Our prejudice is internalized to a different degree within everyone.
