You cannot control your emotions, which are physical responses such as how we digest food. We CAN control our feelings, (some) which are thoughts we have about how our body responds to emotions: such as fear, humiliation, sadness, etc.
I find that this distinction empowers people because we can all learn we are human animals. We can all learn to think, reflect, and affect our feelings. Stay strong and love self and others
